We offer a range of A Level courses as well as BTECs that will prepare students for a wide variety of destinations, from Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group Universities, to apprenticeships and local employment. We expect students to meet academic challenges, discover their passions, develop confidence, contribute positively to society, be resilient and become independent thinkers prepared for successful and fulfilling lives.
We are an inclusive Sixth Form but also an academic one. Students can select to study three or four A Levels, BTECs or a combination of both. Students should choose a combination of subjects that enable them to develop both their aptitudes, skills and interests but that also facilitate their ambitions for further study or work after Sixth Form.

Heathfield Sixth Form is part of an innovative and forward-thinking College. Our Sixth Form has an established reputation for excellent results and high quality teaching and learning . We are a large College with excellent facilities, including our Study Room which is specifically designed for students to work independently, access to the College library for quiet study, books and ICT plus The Sixth Form Common Room is an informal Sixth Form space for study during the day. It is also the student’s social space at break and lunch and is the location of Café Six, the Sixth Form café.

We are a highly successful 6th form, consistently achieving excellent results and with a very high proportion of our students progressing to their first choice of university. As the largest Sixth form college in the local area, we have broad provision at Key Stage 5, including a wide range of A-level and BTEC Level 2 and 3 choices.
